• Chief Kai Bauer resigned from the Fire Chief role as of 05/31/2026 and has taken a sabbatical.  CCRFD would like to thank Kai for giving his time to this community and the fire district for many years, and we wish him the best during this sabbatical period.  Please come to the board meeting to find out how to support our remaining volunteers and find out how you could plug into this volunteer operation and help keep our community safe.

• The results of the Special Election completed on Tuesday 05/05/2026 are in... 

       Congratulations to TRUSTEES:  RANDY WILLIAMS voted in for a 3 year Term

                                                                       PEGGY JUSTESEN voted in for a 1 year Term

                                                                       RAY MILLER voted in for a 1 year Term

        UPDATE:  The May 2026 Special Election was certified at the Canvas Board meeting on Tuesday

                            05/19/2026, with Randy Williams being sworn in immediately following.

 

     Thank you CCRFD VOTERS for a large turnout and a special thanks to the non-resident Landowners

     who requested a ballot and voted!!  The results of the election for our district are posted here (link).
